After the success of last year's first dyke march in over two decades, Dyke March London is back in 2013 for its second year! Dyke March London will take place on 22nd June 2013, meeting in Berkeley Square at 3pm. The march will part-follow in the footsteps of one of the 1908 Suffragette marches, marching through Central London to finish in Soho Square.
Legend Bonnie Tyler will represent us in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The Co-operative Group was named ‘Employer of the Year’ at the inaugural National Student Pride Awards, in association with Channel 4 Talent, held at The Brighton Dome on 2 March. Thomas Anderson, Co-chair of The Co-operative’s inclusive employee lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) network Respect, accepted the award from Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer of chart topping group The Feeling.
Stonewall has announced that Barclays is to sponsor its 2013 series of Workplace Conferences. The conferences – in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff – promote good practice around sexual orientation in the workplace.
