UK based LGBT voluntary group JUST A BALL GAME? (JBG?) have called on FARE (Football Against Racism in Europe) asking the anti-racism organisation to take a stand against UEFA and demand answers from them as to why they have been reluctant in the past 12 months to even begin an investigation around the gay slur comments of “ y esos maricones” (those faggots)  which Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho made to a referee prior to his team’s Champions League match in Moscow in February last year 

The European football  competition organisers UEFA have (and quite rightly so) taken action immediately on a number of occasions in recent years around any allegations of Racism, but unfortunately they have refused to act at all around a high profile manager who was clearly caught on camera using homophobic language.

MPs have voted by a majority of 225 in favour of the new Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill.

The Bill will extend the legal form of marriage to lesbian, gay and bisexual people and permit religious denominations to celebrate such marriages should they wish.

MPs will get the chance to vote on the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill for the first time today, Tuesday 5 February.

Three senior Conservatives have made a late appeal to their party to drop any opposition to plans to allow gay marriage in England and Wales. Chancellor George Osborne, Foreign Secretary William Hague and Home Secretary Theresa May wrote to the Daily Telegraph saying "a substantial majority" of Britons back gay marriage.
