Growing independent men’s underwear retailer “Pants” proudly donated nearly £300 worth of designer underwear to the Manchester gay village Tooty Booty charity fundraiser. The event raised an amazing total of £4,120.75 for Raising4Red causes.
‘Tooty Booty’ is Manchester gay village’s annual ‘best butt from behind the bar’ charity event, raising money for Raising4Red causes. During November 2011 the heat was on in the search for Manchester’s best ‘Tooty Booty’. The competition was the hottest ever, with guys from venues, businesses, organisations and charities all taking part to be crowned the new winner!
Brought to you by website TheGayVillageOnline.com, Manchester club night ‘Poptastic’, and with the live finals hosted by nightclub ‘Cruz 101’, the event was a huge success.
Bars and venues across Manchester each nominated a member of their team – the one with the best bottom! The contest then went to the public vote via text voting and a Facebook poll and culminated with the live finals on 2 December, when the crowds placed their final votes.
‘Pants’ is proud to have supplied all the underwear worn by the contestants during the live finals and press photo-shoots. As they “bared all” and “got down” to their undies, they all looked hot sporting brands including AussieBum, James Tudor, Aware Soho, ES Collection, Bum Chums and a host of others from Pants’ vibrant collection.
‘Pants’ is Manchester’s premier men’s designer underwear store based in the vibrant Northern Quarter, well known for its creative qualities. ‘Pants’ was born out of a love of men’s designer underwear brands and a desire to bring original designer labels to one place on the high street.
Darren Bevan, Pants’ Operations Director commented “This was a really fun way of engaging with our local community and we’re really proud to have been able to contribute to such a worthwhile cause so close to our hearts. The hardest part of course was choosing who to vote for!”
Ashley Grumble, Pants Business Development Director explained “Pants is a small locally-owned business, but one that is committed to supporting the issues that matter to our customers, supporters and followers. Tooty Booty was a huge success and a big credit goes to all those involved.”
