Dutch singer 'Gordon' is threatening to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest in Russia if violence is used against gay activists in Moscow.

Russian gay-rights activists say they plan to hold a march on 16 May before the final night of the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

Moscow authorities have banned gay pride parades in the past and Mayor Yuri Luzhkov has drawn international criticism by describing homosexuality as "satanic". Previous attempts to defy the bans have ended violently in some occasions.

Loud mouth Elton John has caused a small furore by launching a four letter word filled attack on the X Factor.

Elton, 61, made his expletive filled comments during a concert at the O2 in London on Saturday night. He is set to perform with X Factor winner Alexandra Burke at a New Year's Eve gig in London.

In between songs he thanked a packed audience of 20,000 people for coming to his Red Piano show despite the X Factor final being on TV. But he then added that he would rather have his "cock bitten off by an alsatian" than watch the X Factor.

After a terrible mimed performance on The X Factor, Britney had been billed to perform at G-A-Y.

And that's just what the over excited crowd were expecting. However, cheers soon turned to jeers and boos as Britney made the breifest of appearanced on a balcony, blew out some candles and a PA announced "Britney says hello". She couldn't even be bothered to speak for herself!

Spears, the troubled star, spent just 24 hours in the UK but her comeback visit was criticised by fans as half-hearted.

A spokesman for the star insisted: "She was never asked to perform".

A court has heard that Boy George was "obsessed with spanking" a male escort during a naked photo shoot.

First he had donned chains and leather straps as "decor" while Boy George (George O'Dowd) - photographed him as part of a drug-fueled erotic shoot he had arranged at his London apartment. Audun commented "He wanted to slap my arse. He was very obsessed."

Escort Audun Carlsen, 29, told the jury at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court that George had continuously wanted to strike his buttocks.

Audun who also alleges George beat him with a chain - revealed George forced him to put on a pair of handcuffs against his will.

Pop star Boy George handcuffed a male prostitute to the wall and beat him with a metal chain as he tried to flee from a naked photo shoot, an east London court has been told.

The singer & disc jockey - being tried under his real name George O'Dowd - chained up Audun Carlsen on April 28 last year, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard at the start of Boy George's trial on assault and false imprisonment charges.

O'Dowd, 47, screamed "whore" as he and another man pinned the Norwegian to the floor in his east London home, the court heard. Carlsen met the singer on the Gaydar website and agreed to visit his house to pose naked for a photo shoot.
