Christian JessenTasty Dr Christian Jessen's feeding clinic opens its doors once more to take Supersize and Superskinny on the most extreme journeys yet.

The 10 x 60 minute series will feature exciting new strands, highlight the nation's dysfunctional relationship with food plus investigate eating disorders, morbid obesity and extreme eating habits.

For the first time ever, all eight Supersizers and Superskinnies will come together to be paired off by Dr Christian, as well as take part in one giant weigh in session. But before the Supersizers move into the feeding clinic, they'll be flown stateside for a cautionary glimpse into the future as they move in with someone whose life has been wrecked by overeating. They will live and breathe the absolute extremities of morbid obesity and discover just how hard it can get living with a body that has spun totally out of control.

During their stay, the Supersizers will be visited by Dr Jessen to see what they have learned from their American host before he offers them both invaluable advice and life-saving tips to beat the bulge. Returning to the UK, Super-size and Super-skinny will be reunited at the feeding clinic. Here, they will be forced to confront their unhealthy relationship with food in a 2-day meal swap.

Each week, in a brand new feature, Dr Christian will summon a Supersize or a Superskinny into his clinic to show them the terrible truth behind their biggest food indulgences. From bucket loads of tea to calorie laden cakes, Dr Christian will demonstrate the appalling effects their favourite foods have on the body.

At the end of the swap, they'll receive a tailor made healthy eating plan to follow over the next three months.

The city of Evansville, Indiana has recently been polled as the most obese nation in the America with 38% of its populations having a BMI of 30 or more (Gallup poll).  In a brand new strand, the 'Fattest City in the USA' Dr Jessen investigates why obesity has become such an epidemic for its residents and how the future for the UK could look if we don't learn from them. From funeral parlours with coffins the size of hot tubs, to ballet classes for obese girls to giant ambulances redesigned to fit the super obese, we will get a true and shocking picture of a town brought to its knees by obesity.

Plus, the new series will examine the impact Eating Disorders have on the lives of people battling with their condition. These powerful films will explore the causes and symptoms and reveal the impact Eating Disorders have on family and friends.
