Make Mine a Snowball The 150 strong London Gay Men’s Chorus returns with a Christmas Party laced with a generous splash of festive spirit.

Friday 16th December 2011, Cadogan Hall, 7.30pm
Saturday 17th December 2011, Cadogan Hall, 3.30pm and 7.30pm

It’s the perfect start to Christmas. The London Gay Men’s Chorus’ annual holiday show is always joyful, heartwarming and full of surprises and this year the Chorus are pulling out all the stops to make it a spectacular celebration. Treats abound as the Chorus rings in the holidays, bringing you and yours the very best of the season. Those in the Chorus who have hair will be letting it down - so think Santa, snow, roaring fires and an avalanche of Christmas favourites.

The repertoire chosen for Make Mine a Snowball reflects the show’s ambition to hold a party.

Vital festive questions such as “Who is the Christmas No 1?” What’s on the TV on Christmas Day?  “What will I wear on New Year’s Eve?” and “Will it be a white Christmas?” have all informed our party planning.  A host of new arrangements include songs such as Let It Snow, Santa Baby, Walking In A Winter Wonderland, Only You and Stay Another Day plus a stunning medley of Christmas number ones. Production values will be high and there will be a lots of the Chorus's crowd pleasing choreography!

Stuart Burrows, who is directing the show, said, "The concept is very simple, the focus is on Christmas fun.  We will provide the best night, out of their festive season, for our audience.  I want them to leave filled with Christmas spirit.”

This is the party to get your Christmas Season started!

The LGMC at Cadogan Hall has become a popular annual tradition.

With around 190 singing members, The London Gay Men’s Chorus is Europe’s largest and best known gay choir.  Founded almost 20 years ago, the chorus has performed with stars including Sir Elton John, The Human League, k.d lang, Sandi Toksvig and Mark Ronson and played venues as varied as The Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Washington’s Kennedy Centre and The Queen Elizabeth Hall.

Tickets are now on sale for the concert via the London Gay Men’s Chorus website www.lgmc.org.uk
