The Bitch is Back! Elton John has left a London hospital after being treated for flu and an E. coli bacterial infection.
Gary Farrow, the singer's spokesman, says gay icon Elton was at home on Friday and was feeling fine. He says Elton planned to continue his suspended tour and would play scheduled dates in America with Billy Joel starting in Oakland, California on November 14th.
The 62 year old singer was forced to postpone concerts in London, Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle and Dublin, as well as three gigs in America.
His promoters are hoping to re-schedule the European dates for December.

Sir Elton John has been announced as the headline act at an annual fundraising event for sick and disabled children.
The generous singer, famed for hits including Rocket Man, Candle in the Wind and Your Song, has agreed to donate his appearance and perform at the Caudwell Children ‘Butterfly Ball’ in May for free after learning about the work of the Charity.
The exclusive performance at London’s Battersea Evolution on May 20th 2010 will be in front of an impressive guest list of celebrities and charity supporters, including the charity ambassadors Elizabeth Hurley and Joan Collins, as well as a group of children the Charity has supported during their 10-year history.
Sir Elton John is the latest superstar to perform at the high profile event, which raises funds to provide vital specialist equipment, treatments and therapy for sick and disabled children living in the UK. Founded by successful entrepreneur-turned-philanthropist, John Caudwell, the Charity has donated over £11million and helped change the lives of thousands of children across the UK.
Legendary music maestro Pete Waterman will produce this year's UK entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
The multi award-winning music maestro has been responsible for producing and writing more than 200 hits in over 25 years, and worked with pop sensations from Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer, Geri Halliwell, Westlife and Bananarama to Steps, Rick Astley and Dead Or Alive.
The song will be performed at Eurovision 2010, which takes place in Oslo in May. Details for the selection process for the act that will perform the song will be announced at a later date.
