LGBT Rock fans are in for a treat this summer, lesbian fronted alt rock band "Kenelis" will be performing at SEVEN of this year’s major Pride events including Brimingham, Brighton and Cardiff Prides.
Kenelis describe themselves as combination of grunge, punk and anthemic shoegaze all fused together in a big pot of rock! Comparisons have included the raw angst of Hole, vulnerability of Placebo and diversity of Radiohead. Kenelis have shared the stage with the likes of Reuben, Hundred Reasons, Your Codename is: Milo, Fightstar, Ghost of a Thousand and The Levellers (Mark Chadwick). Due to the success of last summer’s Pride performances at London Pride (women’s stage), Nottingham pride and Brighton Student Pride, word has quickly spread about Kenelis and this has generated an exciting buzz on the LGBT scene.
