Jane Austen's Guide to Pornography
Australia's Longest Running Gay Theatre Company Returns to the U.K with Jane Austen's Guide to Pornography by Steven Dawson

It's Sex without Sensibility...Perversion without Prejudice! From the company that brought you 2008’s raunchy “Adventures of Butt Boy and Tigger” (Winner of the Filthiest Show not Involving Nudity Award - Scotsman 2008); comes Steven Dawson’s latest Award Winning Play “Jane Austen’s Guide to Pornography”

Jane’s on her last lungs and desperately wants to go out with a bang; while 21st century pornographic playwright Brett wants to write something that doesn’t involve willy.  Meanwhile Darcy’s sodomising stableboys, Marianne’s getting rogered rigid and Jane still can’t say "fellatio" without reaching for the smelling salts.

New Lesbian TV Series First for UK

Far Out
'Far Out', Britiain's first online lesbian TV series is set to take over the internet this summer. This witty, gritty, titty tale tells of the lives & loves of your typical gay girls about town. Set against the backdrop of Soho, recognisable locations include First Out and The Enclave and some well known faces feature, including Jane Czyzselska, Lynda Rathbone, Maz Ogden and Katherine Richardson.

Written by Faye Hughes, the script was touted around production companies and the BBC writers room. But Hughes decided to retain control of the project and make the show for internet with a dedicated cast and crew giving their time and talent for free.

This dynamic and groundbreaking series comes directly from the audience it's made for and it's already creating a buzz with comparisions to "This Life" and "Queer as Folk" being made.

This Is Gonna Sound A Bit Gay

Current TVOnly half a century ago it was illegal to be gay in Britain.

Yet today Britain has become one of the most progressive, open-minded nations in the world. Civil partnerships and same sex adoptions no longer invoke the same level of controversy.  But what does it mean to be gay and lesbian at the end of the noughties?

Coinciding with London Pride this July, This Is Gonna Sound A Bit Gay is a celebration of sexual identity and an insight into gay rights in 21st Century Britain. With civil rights strengthened and the ongoing debate around nature vs. nurture prevailing, how have our attitudes towards homosexuality and the connotations attached to it changed? Have the social barriers fallen or does prejudice and division still stand? This one-off special airs exclusively on Thursday 2nd July.

FREE FILM SCREENING: Beyond the Pink Curtain

FREE FILM SCREENING: Beyond the Pink Curtain
Homophobia remains an institutional practice in post-Communist Europe, as evidenced by Lithuania's introduction of legislation akin to Britain's defunct Section 28.

This is despite that country's membership of the European Union and the expectation of a commitment to its ethos of social equality.

Beyond the Pink Curtain is a documentary that highlights the problems faced in the East, while questioning the West's authority to pass judgment and investigating the power and responsibility of the European Union to protect us.  It features activists from Lithuania, Serbia, Poland, the UK and pan-European NGOs, and interviews with members of the far Right in Serbia.
