On World AIDS Day, British designer Giles Deacon is urging the public to get talking about HIV and AIDS issues. Deacon has lent his popular Eeek design to the charity’s campaign t-shirt which he has dressed in spikes in an abstract reference to ‘protection’.
Deacon, alongside a host of celebrities, is supporting Crusaid’s THINK. TALK. ACT. GIVE! campaign which is aimed at raising vital awareness of HIV and AIDS issues. All money raised from the sale of the t-shirt will go towards Crusaid’s work supporting adults and children affected by HIV and AIDS living in poverty. T-shirts are currently being sold in Selfridges, Prowler and at www.thinktalkactgive.org
HIV and AIDS issues are close to his heart and by loaning the charity his exclusively designed collection mascot, Eeek, Deacon hopes that his work arouses much needed discussion about HIV and AIDS issues and raises as much money as possible.
